Claire's First Easter

Hope you had a wonderful Easter! I know we did! Lately it's seemed like all of our holidays/days of celebration were cursed. In December we spent our 3rd wedding anniversary in Labor & Delivery getting checked out for some blood pressure issues and extremely bad swelling. Then we spent New Years Eve in the hospital after I broke my ankle. And to complete the trifecta, we ended up in the ER with Cam's gallbladder issues after celebrating his birthday the night before. (BTW, I've been bad about updating, but at this point they are not doing surgery to remove his gallbladder. There's definitely something up with his gallbladder, but his test results don't follow any sort of expected pattern, so we're taking a wait and see approach.)

Thankfully Easter couldn't have been more different than our recent run of bad luck. And it makes sense that Easter would break the cycle. There is so much hope and promise in Easter and the renewal of Spring!

We are definitely counting each of our many blessings this year. Happy Easter!
