  2. First off, CONGRATS!! We are so excited for yall, especially since our kiddos will be close in age.
Secondly, I pretty much took Clartin-D every day during my second trimester. I had the worst sinus swelling which would result in migraines which in turn would make me throw up. I had to be able to go to work and function and could not live with a migraine nearly every day for 12 weeks so I broke down and started taking the Clartin. I totally understand how you feel and how scary it is to take medicine while you are pregnant. I'm not sure if this helps any but Sam is perfectly happy and healthy and I was actually able to still function at work and life. Pregnancy is definitely difficult but it will get better! Hang in there and feel free to call me if you ever want to chat, I wish I had known a few more "mom" friends during my pregnancy to quell my fears and concerns.

  3. Thanks Kristen! I can't wait to meet Sam and watch our little ones play together. Thanks for the reassurance! I think my main concern is getting through the first trimester with taking as little medicine as possible. Now that I'm almost to the second trimester, I probably won't worry about it. I agree with you - being able to function and live your life is more important than worrying about taking something safe when needed. I already gave up on the whole "no caffeine" thing because regular Coke (in moderation) has been one of the only things that helps my nausea!
